Ingredients

2 slices bread

1 egg

1/2 tsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

Pinch of salt

1 tsp oil for frying

Method

  1. Add egg, sugar, vanilla and salt in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Dip bread in the egg mixture. The longer the bread stays in the liquid the softer the middle of the French Toast.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat, then fry toast on both sides until golden brown.
